Google: Stop Repeating The Same Keyword Over & Over Again

3:55 PM |

A Google Webmaster Help thread has one webmaster asking why Google isn't ranking his seven year old web site.
Google's John Mueller said that he is over doing it with the web site.
John explained that he is repeating the same keyword over and over again, to the point where it is making it hard for Google to "recognize what's really unique & compelling" on that specific site.
John said:
One of the difficulties our algorithms have with your pages is that they appear to be using the same keywords over and over again -- making it hard to recognize what's really unique & compelling on your site. For instance, looking at the cached version of your homepage: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.just-tow.co.uk/&strip=1 - I see over 1000 mentions of "towbar." The same is the case on URLs like http://www.just-tow.co.uk/towbars/honda-tow-bars/honda-civic-towbars.html (where even the URL includes 3 mentions of towbars). Our algorithms are pretty good at recognizing important content on your pages, you don't have to repeat them unnecessarily.
I know a lot of SEOs are obsessed with keyword density, even to this day. Maybe a post like this from Google will help relax some SEOs? Or maybe it will back fire and cause havoc where SEOs start making sure they don't mention the keyword they want to rank for at all on the page. ;-) Just kidding.

Googlebot Can't Access Your Site: Ignore That Last Google Webmaster Tools Notification

3:13 PM | ,

In the past twenty-four hours, it seems as if Google sent out a message to thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, of site owners, that there is a problem with their site.

Typically, you never ever want to ignore a webmaster tools notification but in this case, the messages were sent in error.

Google told these webmasters that "Googlebot can't access your site", that the site had connection failures and Google was unable to access your site.
Here is a sample message one of my clients received (although I received several):
Googlebot Can't Access Your Site
Google's Matt Cutts wrote in the thread that this seems like an error on Google's side. He said:
Hey everyone, please don't worry about this message at this point. Enough people are getting this message that I suspect it's an issue on our end.

I've got an email out to our webmaster tools team, and we'll figure out what's going on. Thanks.
John Mueller of Google is asking webmasters to post example URLs so they can fix the issue.
The thing is, I checked this morning and webmaster tool's console does not show the error on these sites still, so maybe it was a Google error.

Things to be Considered Before doing Off-Page Optimization

12:15 PM |

"THINKING" Yes it's right thing, before doing any off-page activity because we can't continue past link building techniques which is not meeting the Google's latest update like  Penguin update. It's Completely focuses on the way of creating back link that should be Natural not Unnatural. Natural means quality, always use unique IP websites for quality back link not same IP. As we use multiple sites for bookmarking in past but now we should remember that these sites are belong from different ip. Unnatural means use of multiple websites with same ip it's count as unnatural way of creating back link.

technically yours
So my dear friends be Natural.

What can Jesus gives us?

5:46 AM |

  • He gives us Eternal Life: "Because God has promised us Eternal life. But we can only receive that eternal life by faith in Jesus Christ".
  • Jesus said: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
  • God is Love: This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."
  • What is Sin: "None of us is perfect. We all make wrong choices. We all do wrong things. The Bible calls these wrong choices and wrong things Sin".
  • Penalty of Sin: "The penalty for sin is death-dying and spending eternity separated from the God who loves us. But we do not have to pay that penalty ourselves. When Jesus died on the Cross, he paid that penalty for us. He died so that we can live".
So no more Tears and no more tension Enjoy This New Year With the Love of God...
